Your prices seem to be too good to be true, why is this?
We are a specialist airport transfer company unlike many of our competitors we don’t hide anything away and we give you all the bad news up front so if you look at our competitors closely you will see that they hide things like Early Morning Surcharges, “meet-N-greet” charges away in the small print also unlike other local Taxi’s company’s we don’t have enormous overheads so we can pass on the benefit to you the customer.
How do I meet the driver at the airport?
The driver will be at the arrivals gate with a sign with your name on it. Please look out for him/her. If you can’t find the driver phone our office.
How will the driver know what time to get to the airport?
All incoming flights are monitored for arrival times via screens in our office we despatch your driver to arrive at the airport at about the same time as your flight lands.
How long will the driver wait for me?
Up to 90 Minutes after your flight lands. After 90 minutes we will make enquires about you if we cannot find you or contact you we will leave the airport
What if I fail to meet my driver at the arrivals gate?
Sometimes weather/traffic problems can delay a driver Or it may be that the car parks are full and we can’t get parked with all of our booking confirmations you are given a telephone number PLEASE bring this with you it’s the ONLY way you have of contacting us from the airport.
What hours are there people at your call centre?
Our call centre is open 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.
How long will the journey take?
That really depends on where you are going and what time of day it is. If you are going to Wokingham or Reading area about 60 minutes.
I have sent you a booking via your ONLINE BOOKING form what happens next.
You will receive an email from us confirming your reservation and contact details should you fail to meet your driver at the airport.
How much Luggage can I get into your cars?
UK Saloon (sedan) cars have limited Luggage space as a Rule-of-Thumb Two adults and two children will have 3 cases they will just fit into a saloon car if you have more luggage than this we can supply by request an Estate car (station-wagon) for an extra Five pounds or an MPV for an extra 50% of the fare these cars have to be booked in advance.
Can you take me to the airport/docks as well?
Yes we can and will give you a very competitive price for your journey
Do you just go Wokingham/Reading or can I book a journey elsewhere?
No we don’t just go to Wokingham/Reading we will take you to anywhere in the UK.
I am travelling with young Children do you do seats for them?
No we don’t If you have your own child seats we can store it in the office and when you return the driver will bring it with him.
Can I smoke in the car?
As a Company we operate a NO SMOKING POLICY for our drivers and cars…
Will I have to wear a seat belt in the car?
Absolutely both front and rear seat belts are compulsory here in the UK. If you do not wear one you can be fined for failing to do so by the Police.
How can I pay?
By Cash (sterling) Travellers cheque (sterling) or a Sterling Cheque drawn on a UK bank. WE take All MAJOR CREDIT CARDS
You offer a cheap service does this mean I have to share with others?
No! The price you pay is per car for you and your party only.
Are there any hidden costs?
No! the only time you will incur extra costs is if you keep us waiting for more than 60 minutes or you misrepresent your destination/number of passengers/amount of luggage,
You offer a cheap service does this mean your cars are old wrecks?
No! The average age we have on our fleet is a 4 years old and 95% of them are Mercedes E Class and all cars are kept in immaculate condition, many of the cars are top-of-the-line models they are all maintained to standards far above that required by the Ministry of Transport for road worthiness.
Do I have to book in advance or do you have cars stationed at the airports?
Although we are constantly going backwards and forwards to the airports it’s very rare we have any cars going “Empty” on a journey we do not station cars at the airports so all journeys have to be booked in advance. This is actually a LEGAL requirement for us we can only operate on PRE-BOOKED Journeys
Is Tipping compulsory?
No Tipping is regarded as a sign of good service here if you decide not to tip then no-one will think any less of you. All our drivers expect from you is the fare you were quoted and if you decide to tip then I am sure that they will appreciate it.
